Program Implementation:
School personnel are first interviewed to assess classroom issues and needs. The program curriculum is based on teacher choices and individual classroom needs.

A series of 6-7 classroom sessions, with teacher in attendance, is scheduled throughout the course of a school year.

Interactive sessions consist of discussion, role playing and the opportunity to practice social skills.

Students are encouraged to apply these skills as soon as the appropriate situation presents itself.

At the conclusion teachers are asked to complete a written evaluation which measures social skill development.

Teachers are also interviewed at the end of the program to capture their impressions and to note any observable changes in student behavior.

A student evaluation is administered to measure student understanding and practical application of social skills.
